I climb whatever I can, sometimes it requires a mix of everything. Except ice, because I don't swing that way yet.

How long have you been an athlete with La Sportiva?:

A few years?

What are some of your lifetime climbing goals?:

To free climb really big walls quickly.

Do you have a claim to fame?:

No.



Do you have any vices?:

Not really, I'm quite puritanical, minus the god part. I don't drink, or smoke or any of those vice like things. I guess I fornicate when I can tho.

What makes you tick as a climber and in the real world?:

I just like climbing a lot. I change styled a fair amount and travel a lot, I just like keeping it fresh and climbing new things. I wouldn't say I have much of a real world.

What drives you to climb? The money? The groupies?
The fame? What?:

Definitely the groupies, tho the fat cash comes in a close second.

What is your favorite movie?:

Too hard to say. There are tons of movies that I love but haven't seen again.

Do you have any nicknames? Explain:

Nothing has ever really stuck.

What's the longest you've gone without sleep? Why?:

I have no idea, but probably somewhere in the 40 hour range in highschool maybe. Pulling an all nighter and then having a long day.

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states,
which would it be?:

I think Oregon. It has sort of an epic sound to it, like a fantasy novel. And so many of the other states sound feminine.



What did you have for lunch yesterday?:

Weird raw vegan sprout things. It was very a-typical for me tho.

If you could hook up a thought monitor to your head,
would you see pictures, hear words or would music be
playing?:

Probably words. My mind is very boring.

What really scares you about climbing?:

Falling off? Totally sucking? I guess those both just mean failure.

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be called?:

Dumb and Dumber?? But I'd prefer Enter the Dragon, just to sound badass.

Where would you live if it could be anywhere in the world?:

I sort of do live wherever I want. . . I always come back to Sacramento tho, just because my family is there.

Have no food or have no gasoline?:

I'd rather have no gas. You can always walk if you're well fed.

Do you wish you had sexier feet?:

Actually, I do a little bit. My feet are really ugly, sometimes it embarrasses me a little in public.
